It is the responsibility of the management to make the necessary protective equipment available to the employees at the correct point of job. At the same time, it is the duty of the employees to make sure they wear the correct protective equipment so that they experience a safe workplace.

Report unsafe conditions to management
The management has serious legal liabilities to provide you with a safety workplace. Therefore, it is your duty to bring the unsafe conditions you experience to their consideration without any delay. A small delay could result a serious accident or injury.
It is the management’s responsibility to make sure the workplace safety is given serious considerations.

Keep work areas and emergency exits clear
Being prepared for the wort case scenario is always smart. Emergency exits should be kept accessible throughout. Blocking the pathways may not be a big issue until an emergency situation occurs. Make sure that you know all escape routes from the building and that there is no equipment or anything else blocking these exits.

Use correct posture
No one can take care of yourself better than you. Correct postures should be practiced when you sit, lift heavy objects, drag objects. Postures prevents from backbone damage, and neck strains. It is easy to stay in perfect posture. Simply shrug your shoulders, move them back, and then drop them.

Take regular breaks
Being exhausted distracts from concentrating on your job. It is always important that you are alert on the task you are performing, especially when you handle machinery and equipment. To avoid being exhausted make sure you take sufficient breaks in between and refresh yourself.
